How Lumen handles shopper and order data.
Lumen uses Shopify order data only to answer post-purchase questions, and keeps as little as it can.
In short:
- Lumen only reads your Shopify data. It never changes orders.
- The checkout email a shopper enters is used only to verify the order. It isn't stored with the conversation.
- Transcripts and ticket notes are saved with emails, card numbers and phone numbers masked.
- Conversations are deleted automatically after 90 days (Free) or 180 days (paid plans).
- Uninstalling deletes your store's Lumen data.
- Shopify's GDPR requests are handled automatically.
