Languages

Lumen's storefront follows your store's language. You don't need to set anything up.

Supported storefront languages

• English
• Spanish
• French
• German

If a shopper browses your store in Spanish, French or German (for example through Shopify Markets or a language selector), the tracking page, tracking form and chat appear in that language. Any other store language shows English.

What gets translated

• Tracking page and tracking form: labels, buttons, statuses, progress steps and error messages.
• Chat widget: buttons, quick actions, greetings, verification prompts and Lumen's fixed messages, in the tone you picked.
• AI answers: the assistant replies in the language the shopper writes in.

Text you change yourself

In the tracking form block, text left at its default is translated automatically. Text you change, such as a custom heading, is shown exactly as you typed it, in every language.

Your bot name is also shown as you wrote it.

The admin

The Lumen admin in Shopify and the emails Lumen sends your team are in English only. Shoppers' messages in transcripts are kept in the language they wrote.
