Tracking page
The ready-made tracking page that works on any theme.
Every store with Lumen has a tracking page at:
https://your-store.com/apps/lumen-widget/trackReplace your-store.com with your store's domain. You can also use your .myshopify.com address.
The page works on any theme. You don't need to edit your theme or add a block. Shopify shows it inside your store's own header, footer and styles.
What shoppers do
- Enter their order number or tracking number.
- Enter the email used at checkout.
- Click Track order.
After Lumen checks the email with Shopify, the page shows:
- The order status in plain language, such as "In transit" or "Delivered".
- Progress steps: Confirmed, Shipped, In transit, Out for delivery, Delivered.
- Every shipment with its tracking number, estimated delivery when the carrier gives one, and a Track package link.
- Track another order. When the chat assistant is on, there is also Ask about this order.
- Still need help?, if you turn it on (see below).
See How order tracking works for the details.
Where to link it
- Your main menu or footer, for example as "Track your order".
- Your shipping confirmation and order emails.
- Your other chat app's welcome message or saved replies.
- Your FAQ or contact page.
To add it to a menu, go to Online Store → Navigation, open the menu, click Add menu item, and paste the link.
"Still need help?"
Off by default. To let shoppers send a request to your team from the result card, go to the Lumen dashboard, find How customers track orders, and check Show "Still need help?" on the tracking page. Each request opens a ticket in Tickets. See How shoppers ask for help.
Customizing the page
The tracking page uses Lumen's default text in the shopper's language. Apart from Still need help?, it doesn't have its own settings.
If you want your own heading, labels or colors, create a page and add the tracking form block instead.
Lookups on the tracking page show up in Conversations with the channel Tracking page.
